Data Analyst, Associate (Private Equity Technology)

Expected annual base salary: $135,000–$170,000

What you will do

• Lead intake and refinement of technology and data requests for deal tracking, portfolio monitoring, and related workflows.
• Conduct business analysis and stakeholder sessions to improve modeling, asset management, portfolio management, and operational workflows.
• Coordinate with product owners, application developers, UX designers, platform teams, and engineering teams.
• Develop and maintain analytical software solutions using Python and SQL with a focus on quality, scalability, reliability, and security.
• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of data used in AI and analytics workflows, including access controls, licensing, and compliance requirements.
• Promote data analytics, data science, and AI through talks and training for technology and business teams.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in data analysis or data science.
• Fluency in Python and SQL for working with data and data warehouses.
• Experience in a technology team within a financial firm; alternative asset management and real estate experience is relevant.
• Advanced analytical skills, including statistical analysis, data modeling, data governance, data quality, and data integration.
• Experience with business intelligence tools such as Sigma and Tableau.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
