Customer Engineering Maintenance & Service Technician (Cryogenic Gas Systems)

Location: Pennsylvania, United States; residence-based role in the Lehigh Valley area with daily travel to customer sites within approximately a 250-mile radius

What you will do

• Install, repair, and maintain cryogenic liquid, industrial gas, and process gas supply systems.
• Service pumping, high-pressure compression, gas generation, and related equipment at customer sites.
• Travel daily across the assigned region, including occasional overnight stays and additional travel outside the normal territory.
• Supervise contractors and crane operations when required.
• Participate in after-hours and weekend call-outs with 24/7 availability.
• Use company-provided vehicles, tools, equipment, laptop, uniforms, and fuel card.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with hand and power tools, brazing torches, multimeters, ladders, and related maintenance equipment.
• Knowledge of safety work permits, LOTO procedures, de-energized circuits up to 480V, and 4–20 mA instrumentation loops.
• Understanding of piping systems, regulators, valves, relief devices, pumps, compressors, and P&IDs.
• Ability to work outdoors year-round, perform physically demanding tasks, and travel as required.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, effective communication skills, independent work ability, and 24/7 on-call availability required.

Nice to have

• Technical degree in process technology, electrical technology, industrial systems, electromechanical technology, HVAC, plumbing, welding, or a related field.
• Welding or brazing experience.
• Military or technical experience in electrical, electronics, aircraft maintenance, cryogenics, machining, mechanical repair, crane operations, or general maintenance.
