Cybersecurity Engineer II (Network Security)

Location: Not specified; the role includes a general office environment, PC use, standing, stooping, light lifting, and occasional travel or after-hours change-window support.

Salary: $85,963–$111,783 annually, plus eligibility for the Quarterly Incentive Pay Program.

What you will do

• Own administration, lifecycle planning, and continuous improvement for network security, segmentation, VPN, and secure remote-access platforms.
• Design and implement secure connectivity and access policies, including secure access service edge capabilities.
• Implement and improve privileged access management and identity security controls, including least privilege, multifactor authentication, and credential governance.
• Develop technical designs, configuration standards, implementation plans, test plans, rollback procedures, and operational documentation.
• Lead complex troubleshooting across networks, remote access, authentication systems, security platforms, vendors, infrastructure teams, and global sites.
• Lead deployments, upgrades, migrations, remediation workstreams, peer reviews, and technical escalations.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in network engineering, systems administration, cybersecurity engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, subnetting, routing, switching, DNS, VPNs, and network security architecture.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise firewalls, secure remote-access solutions, or secure access service edge technologies.
• Experience implementing identity, authentication, privileged-access, or directory-service security controls.
• Experience leading technical changes through design, testing, implementation, validation, documentation, and operational handoff.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and independent ownership skills across a global organization.

Nice to have

• Experience securing manufacturing, industrial, or operational technology environments using segmentation, controlled remote access, and Purdue Model concepts.
• Knowledge of NIST CSF, NIST 800-171, CMMC, ISO 27001, IEC 62443, or related technical-control requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, plus certifications such as CCNA, Security+, ISC2 SSCP, or a relevant network-security platform certification.
