Senior Software Engineer, Low Latency (C++)

What you will do

• Develop and improve low-latency trade execution systems for the Asia Equity Options business.
• Build high-availability systems in C++ and Python under tight resource and latency constraints.
• Interface with ultra-low-latency FPGA trading systems and highly distributed systems.
• Analyze stakeholder requirements and facilitate discussions on implementation, testing, and software architecture.
• Drive projects, lead new initiatives, and resolve challenging design and coding issues with the development team.
• Evaluate new technologies, tools, frameworks, and software components for integration.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of C++, Boost, and STL.
• At least 4 years of experience in the trading industry.
• Prior experience with options or derivative products.
• Background in multithreaded programming and strong understanding of hardware and software interaction.
• Experience with performance tuning and troubleshooting applications, Linux, and socket I/O.
• Experience working with research teams and quants, alongside strong software engineering and interpersonal skills.

• Knowledge of Python.
