Trading Operations Engineer (Python)

What you will do

• Monitor high-volume live trading activity and portfolio risk.
• Contribute to the automated trading operations codebase using programmatic solutions.
• Manage projects with Tower support teams and coordinate software and hardware upgrades.
• Scale and expand trading operations through automation.
• Resolve discrepancies involving trading positions, broker statements, and internal applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of professional experience in a related field.
• Strong software development skills in Python and working knowledge of Linux.
• Strong knowledge of PNL and risk reporting applications, trading technology, and technical concepts.
• Familiarity with current market structure and regulatory developments.
• Ability to diagnose complex real-time systems, make data-driven decisions, and manage multiple projects independently and collaboratively.
