Software Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain secure cross-platform software for Windows, macOS, and Linux.
• Build platform capabilities that provide reliable access to hirify.global products and services for users and enterprise customers.
• Investigate technical challenges while balancing quality, performance, security, and maintainability.
• Build automated tests and contribute to CI/CD practices supporting frequent, high-quality releases.
• Improve established systems by simplifying solutions, addressing technical debt, and enhancing software quality.
• Collaborate through design discussions, code reviews, and technical discussions while using AI-assisted development tools responsibly.

Requirements

• 1+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with at least one of C++, Go, Rust, or Python.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently while seeking guidance when appropriate.
• Clear communication and effective collaboration with engineers and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of AI-assisted development methods and tools such as Cursor or Claude Code.
• Understanding of software design, testing, debugging, and maintainability fundamentals.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, engineering, or an equivalent practical background.
• Experience developing desktop software for Windows, macOS, or Linux.
• Experience working with large established codebases and troubleshooting software issues.
• Familiarity with automated testing, CI/CD, source control, code reviews, and technical discussions.
