Intern, Software Development Engineer (Cloud-Native APIs)

Location: Singapore, SGP; on-site in-person recruitment drive from 9 October to 6 November 2026

Internship dates: 11 January–25 June 2027, six months full-time with fixed dates.

hirify.global develops software that helps create buildings, vehicles, factories, and media.

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate hirify.global’s membership service within a self-organized agile team.
• Develop features that improve service performance, analytics, security, and software quality.
• Expand unit, integration, and end-to-end test coverage and improve automated validation.
• Maintain monitoring, alerting, metrics, and troubleshooting for the service and platform.
• Translate product and technical requirements into clean, scalable code with senior-engineer mentorship.
• Explore developer tooling, automation, and AI-assisted workflows for testing and code quality.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, graduating in 2027 or 2028.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design principles.
• Familiarity with Go, Java, C++, C#, or Python.
• Understanding of REST APIs and relational or NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or DynamoDB.
• Availability for the fixed six-month full-time internship from 11 January to 25 June 2027.

Nice to have

• Exposure to automated testing, continuous integration, or cloud platforms, especially AWS.
• Familiarity with performance monitoring or code quality tools for web applications.
• Interest in developer tooling, automation, AI-assisted software development, and cloud-native application development.
• Strong communication skills for explaining complex ideas clearly.
