Senior Mechanical Estimator

Location: Remote from Dallas, TX; Tempe, AZ; Vancouver, BC; Toronto, ON; or Bellevue, WA

Salary: $108,000–$145,000 annually for US applicants; actual compensation depends on skills, education, and experience.

What you will do

• Develop estimating plans and coordinate estimate development with project teams.
• Lead the development of total project estimates for construction projects.
• Prepare project bases of estimate and estimate risk analyses.
• Recommend cost contingencies and solutions to complex project problems.
• Maintain a library of current local rates for estimating work.

Requirements

• More than 10 years of progressively responsible estimating experience in a construction environment.
• Experience estimating MEP scopes for mission-critical or data center projects.
• Experience with estimating systems such as Sage Timberline, InEight, or CostX.
• Degree or comparable experience in a construction-related discipline.
• Strong verbal and written communication, attention to detail, and quality focus.
• RICS, CEP, or CPE chartered status, or active progress toward certification.
