Senior Financial Analyst (SaaS)

Salary: $85,000–$120,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop and maintain complex financial models for budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning, and margin analysis.
• Analyze financial data, business trends, and KPIs to identify risks, opportunities, and actionable insights.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations on pricing, product investment, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Prepare financial reports and dashboards for senior management and explain complex information to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Support monthly close, variance analysis, and identification of performance improvements.
• Improve financial systems, tools, and processes to increase efficiency and optimize outputs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in FP&A or a related role, including SaaS financial operations.
• Experience building complex financial models and understanding SaaS metrics such as ARR, NRR, GRR, and churn.
• Advanced Excel skills for financial modeling and analytics, plus data visualization and BI experience with tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work from the Chicago office.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Intacct, NetSuite, or Adaptive Insights.
• CFA, CPA, MBA, or another relevant industry certification.
