Process Improvement Specialist/Manager

Location: Remote; U.S. citizenship required and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance

Salary: $85,000 annually with full benefits

What you will do

• Lead process improvement initiatives by analyzing current-state operations, identifying gaps, and designing future-state workflows.
• Facilitate collaboration with program managers, analysts, IT teams, and field staff to develop practical, scalable solutions.
• Apply Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and related methodologies to improve efficiency, service delivery, and compliance.
• Develop SOPs, process maps, performance dashboards, and other process documentation.
• Support change management by communicating process changes, training stakeholders, and driving adoption.
• Monitor KPIs and data analytics while mentoring teams on process improvement tools and techniques.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Policy, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in process improvement, operations management, or organizational development.
• Experience leading cross-functional improvement projects in large or complex organizations.
• Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and related process improvement methodologies.
• Experience working in or with federal agencies or similar mission-driven environments, with strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills.

Nice to have

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higher.
• Experience with Visio, Lucidchart, ARIS, or similar process modeling tools.
• Experience supporting digital transformation or modernization initiatives in the public sector.
