Program Manager - Government Programs (Healthcare)

What you will do

• Lead high-stakes, multi-million-dollar Medicare, Medicaid, and D-SNP implementations.
• Assemble project teams and coordinate project managers and work-group leaders across comprehensive program plans.
• Direct cross-functional activities across clinical, compliance, provider network, actuarial, and IT functions.
• Monitor program progress, alignment, financial health, scope, quality, schedule, and budget.
• Assess risks, develop mitigation strategies, and report progress and business impacts to executive sponsors and steering committees.
• Develop service and asset contract strategies with procurement and manage vendors against contractual obligations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 7–10 years of experience in project management or delivering business solutions using information technology.
• Experience with complex government-sponsored healthcare programs and changing CMS and state-level requirements.
• Ability to lead cross-functional programs and influence matrixed teams and contractors.
• Travel is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a Technology Management-related field is preferred.

Nice to have

• MBA or master’s degree in Technology Management or a related field.
• PMP or project management certification.
