Triage Telephonic Nurse Case Manager (Remote)

Location: Home United States; fully remote

Salary: $66,000–$67,000 per year

What you will do

• Review workers’ compensation injury referrals and medical documentation to assess case complexity and clinical needs.
• Assign appropriate telephonic or field case management services and provide clinical guidance to claims teams.
• Maintain documentation supporting triage decisions, case assignments, audits, and evidence-based recommendations.
• Monitor referral turnaround times, operational performance, service delivery, and clinical outcomes.
• Serve as a clinical resource for nurse case managers handling complex or high-exposure claims.
• Support quality improvement, workforce planning, resource allocation, and strategic triage program initiatives.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with an active and unrestricted license.
• At least 3 years of clinical nursing experience in medical-surgical, orthopedic, neurological, ICCU, industrial, or occupational settings.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of medical case management practices within workers’ compensation programs.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work remotely from the United States during established work hours.
