Director, Product Management (AI Insurance)

Location: Remote within the United States

Annualized base salary: $140,000–$190,000 USD

What you will do

• Own the strategy, roadmap, business case, and lifecycle for the Portfolio Health product and broader Portfolio Decision Intelligence vision.
• Lead customer and market discovery with insurance executives, underwriters, actuaries, and other decision-makers.
• Define requirements, prioritize the backlog, lead A/B testing, and guide products from discovery through launch and adoption.
• Partner with engineering, data science, design, and insurance experts to deliver AI-enabled software products.
• Build experiences that detect portfolio changes, explain their impact, recommend responsible actions, and incorporate customer feedback.
• Lead commercialization, financial planning, performance reporting, cross-functional alignment, and coaching for developing product managers.

Requirements

• Typically 8+ years of experience in product management, insurance product leadership, insurance technology, or a related field.
• Experience in property and casualty insurance, underwriting, portfolio management, insurance data and analytics, or adjacent risk technology.
• Experience taking complex software or analytics products from discovery through launch, adoption, and measurable business results.
• Experience partnering with engineering and data-science teams in Agile or iterative delivery environments.
• Commercial judgment across positioning, go-to-market strategy, pricing, packaging, forecasting, and revenue growth.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, with strong cross-functional leadership and product-management coaching experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with hirify.global products, data, customers, or operating environments.
• Background in insurance, insurance-data, property-intelligence, core-platform, catastrophe-modeling, or insurtech organizations.
• Experience commercializing analytics, decision-support, workflow, SaaS, or AI-enabled products for enterprise insurance customers.
• Experience with portfolio analytics, underwriting strategy, experimentation, or workflow orchestration.
