Storage Administrator

Location: Montreal, Quebec, Canada; office-based

What you will do

• Maintain the stability, availability, and performance of global file-sharing services and data-archiving storage platforms.
• Respond to major incidents, coordinate troubleshooting, and restore services within agreed timelines.
• Handle requests involving shared storage, quotas, access permissions, data migrations, and service issues.
• Monitor service health and capacity while maintaining storage infrastructure and hardware.
• Design, implement, and improve storage solutions across enterprise and cloud environments.
• Develop automation for recurring operational tasks and standard processes.

Requirements

• Practical experience in storage operations, production support, troubleshooting, and service reliability.
• Experience with Python, Ansible, Git, PowerShell, shell scripting, and Terraform.
• Experience administering enterprise and cloud storage; knowledge of Ceph, with Isilon or Qumulo experience preferred.
• Experience with Windows Server, Distributed File System, and Rocky Linux.
• Knowledge of networking, virtualization, Active Directory, SMB, NFS, backups, and archiving.
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Azure, and AWS, plus the ability to collaborate across teams and time zones.
