Sr Associate Software Development Engineer (US Federal)

Location: Atlanta, Georgia, USA. Hybrid Flex Work requires spending at least 50% of each quarter in the office or in the field with customers, prospects, or partners. U.S. citizenship is required because the role supports U.S. Federal Government contracts.

Annual base salary: $108,000–$162,000 USD for the primary Atlanta location; additional U.S. locations have a range of $102,600–$183,600 USD. The role may also include a bonus plan, commission or bonus, and annual refresh stock grants.

What you will do

• Build and deploy software solutions for hirify.global enterprise applications.
• Develop search and machine-learning-based predictive data capabilities.
• Contribute to data normalization, search relevance, and recommendation systems across large datasets.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and efficient software solutions.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests.
• Collaborate within an agile engineering team and produce clear technical documentation.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required, either naturalized or native-born.
• At least 2 years of software development engineering experience, including software development and deployment.
• At least 2 years of experience with Java and/or Scala.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Knowledge of algorithmic thinking, object-oriented design, API development, RESTful services, and software testing.
• Experience with Git or similar source control tools, branching strategies, agile collaboration, and technical documentation.
