Delivery Solutions Architect - Public Sector (Defense Industrial Base)

Location: United States; U.S. citizenship required to access classified information and comply with federal contract and client site access requirements. Travel up to 30% may be required.

Salary: $180,000–$247,500 USD annually, plus potential bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead technical account strategy and execution for strategic public-sector customers and multiple Databricks use cases.
• Drive workloads from technical win through onboarding, enablement, production go-live, adoption, and healthy consumption.
• Act as the first technical contact for production and go-live issues, coordinating escalations and expert resources.
• Create execution plans covering use-case delivery, user growth, product adoption, cloud cost control, optimization, and governance.
• Coordinate with Professional Services, Product, Engineering, Support, and User Education teams on delivery, upgrades, and new product initiatives.
• Report customer health, usage, risks, investment status, product adoption, and use-case progression to technical leadership.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship required.
• 7+ years of experience delivering technical data and AI projects or programs and contributing to customer technical design decisions.
• Programming experience with Python, SQL, or Scala.
• Experience in customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, customer success, or consulting.
• Knowledge of distributed data systems, solution architecture, business outcomes, and technical program or project management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.

• Experience resolving complex escalations with senior customer executives.
• Experience leading discovery workshops, strategic roadmaps, business analysis, and complex program delivery.
• Track record of exceeding quotas, goals, or comparable performance targets.
