Commercial, Post-War Art & Prints Intern

Location: Hybrid role based in Amsterdam, with a minimum of two days per week at the Amsterdam HQ.

hirify.global is an online marketplace for special objects, hosting weekly curated auctions across more than 80 categories and serving millions of customers.

What you will do

• Research galleries, art dealers, collectors, artists, and art market trends to identify potential sellers and relevant discoveries.
• Organise accurate seller information and support outreach planning.
• Prepare messages, meetings, and follow-ups to build seller relationships.
• Support themed auctions, category projects, and weekly online auctions across Europe.
• Track outreach activity, communicate progress, and contribute ideas to commercial activities.

Requirements

• Curiosity about art, people, and how businesses work.
• Friendly and confident communication skills with an interest in seller relationships.
• Organised approach to research, follow-up, and team support.
• Comfort using everyday digital tools, spreadsheets, and online research.
• Fluent English.
• Continuous student registration at a Dutch university throughout the internship and availability to provide a tri-party agreement.

Nice to have

• Additional language skills.
• Curiosity, energy, and willingness to learn; prior experience in art, sales, or auctions is not required.
