Metal Paint Department Production Supervisor (Manufacturing)

Location: Huntsville, Alabama, USA; onsite, first shift

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and support production team members across safety, quality, productivity, and operational objectives.
• Plan and direct daily production activities, work assignments, and schedule execution.
• Coordinate with maintenance, engineering, supervisors, and other production teams to minimize disruptions.
• Monitor production reports, records, performance metrics, inventory levels, and material planning requirements.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining housekeeping, environmental, quality, and safety standards.
• Manage departmental spending, equipment and material purchasing, policy enforcement, and employee performance issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or another technical engineering discipline preferred.
• At least 2 years of industry experience.
• Leadership, influence, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience leading process improvement initiatives and supporting production, inventory, safety, quality, and productivity objectives.
• Ability to prepare and maintain production reports, records, and operational documentation.
