Solutions Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Germany, off-site; regional travel of approximately 30–35% is required for customer presentations, events, and urgent on-site support.

What you will do

• Act as the primary technical pre-sales partner for customers and account teams.
• Understand customer challenges and present tailored TrendAI platform and service solutions.
• Lead proof-of-concept engagements and support successful solution implementation.
• Design and support cloud and security architectures across customer environments.
• Build technical relationships with customers, prospects, sales teams, channel partners, and technology vendors.
• Share best practices and contribute to solution engineering readiness and subject-matter expertise programs.

Requirements

• Experience in cybersecurity as an architect, developer, network engineer, systems engineer, security specialist, or solution engineer.
• For experienced candidates, 3+ years of solution engineering or professional services experience and 3+ years working with computer software, systems, or security products.
• Experience with multi-cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of pre-sales, consultative and value-based selling, solution architecture, security incidents, network administration, and security solution management.
• Experience with scripting and automation using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Strong communication, negotiation, customer service, time management, and independent-working skills.

Nice to have

• ITIL v3 or later certification.
• Cybersecurity certifications such as CEH, CompTIA Security+, or CISSP.
• AWS certifications.
• Two or more years of SOC or incident response experience.
