Linehaul Coordinator

What you will do

• Plan transportation needs, contractor coverage, and equipment requirements for linehaul operations.
• Coordinate and track FedEx trailers, rental equipment, new trailers, dollies, and unassigned team logistics.
• Direct equipment dispatch according to the linehaul plan and enter trip details into the transportation management system.
• Perform yard inventories and checks to verify equipment locations and trailer load or unload status.
• Coordinate cargo shipments to maximize trailer volume while meeting package delivery obligations.
• Investigate delays, accidents, and equipment failures; implement contingency plans and communicate safety issues.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Dispatch experience preferred.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and DOT requirements used in linehaul operations.
• Strong time management, organization, multitasking, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
• Ability to work onsite in Greenwood, Indiana, United States.
