Field Linehaul Support Rep

Location: Onsite in Memphis, Tennessee, United States

What you will do

• Dispatch transportation equipment and cargo shipments according to Linehaul plans and schedules.
• Optimize trailer volume while meeting package delivery obligations and maintaining service integrity.
• Enter dispatch events in the transportation management system and verify equipment, load, and unload status through yard inventories and checks.
• Investigate and report schedule delays, accidents, equipment failures, and DOT roadside violations.
• Implement contingency plans for en-route breakdowns or accidents to support on-time delivery.
• Prepare operational reports and assist with Business Control Self Assessment audits and trailer load condition reviews.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Dispatch experience preferred.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and DOT requirements used in Linehaul operations.
• Time management, organization, multitasking, communication, and attention to detail.
• Experience with Microsoft Office software and web-based applications.
• Ability to work productively in a fast-paced team environment and follow safety procedures.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
