Maintenance Excellence Expert (Pharmaceutical Manufacturing)

Location: Fully site-based in Stein, AG, Switzerland. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates and their families.

What you will do

• Develop and continuously improve maintenance strategies for HVAC, utilities, facilities, automation systems, fill and finish equipment, and other technical assets.
• Establish maintenance plans, spare parts strategies, asset master data, documentation, and reliability objectives for new and existing equipment.
• Analyze maintenance data, monitor KPIs, manage work orders, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with planners, service providers, technicians, operators, engineers, and quality teams to execute maintenance plans effectively.
• Provide reliability-focused training, troubleshooting support, and technical guidance while improving asset data quality and equipment availability.

Requirements

• Experience in maintenance engineering, maintenance planning, or reliability management.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of SAP PM, including maintenance planning, work order management, and asset data management.
• Fluent German and professional English for collaboration with local and international stakeholders.
• Technical education in engineering or a related field, with knowledge of equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, reliability improvement, and continuous improvement methods.
• Proactive, solution-oriented approach with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with COMOS, GMP, or the pharmaceutical industry.
