Business Analyst

Location: Hybrid in downtown Toronto, Ontario, with 2–3 days per week in the office

What you will do

• Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and technical requirements with business stakeholders.
• Lead requirements workshops, process mapping sessions, stakeholder interviews, solution walkthroughs, and requirements sign-off.
• Analyze business processes and system workflows to identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Translate requirements into functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and traceable project documentation.
• Support data, integration, and enterprise application initiatives by validating solution designs and collaborating with architecture, engineering, delivery, and QA teams.
• Support UAT planning, test case reviews, defect triage, and validation of delivered solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience translating business needs into functional and technical requirements.
• Experience with data, integration, and enterprise application projects.
• Strong process mapping, requirements documentation, stakeholder management, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to facilitate workshops and communicate effectively with business and technical audiences.
• Experience in Agile and/or Waterfall delivery environments.
• Comfort working with cross-functional architecture, delivery, and engineering teams.

Nice to have

• Exposure to UAT, test case review, and defect validation.
