Power Platform Developer (Microsoft Power Platform)

Location: Birmingham, United Kingdom, with hybrid office attendance and remote working

Salary: £50,000–£60,000 per annum

An established UK law firm is expanding its internal technology function to improve business-critical legal and operational systems.

What you will do

• Build applications and automated processes using Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Create dashboards and reporting solutions with Power BI.
• Enhance the VisualFiles environment through workflows, scripts, templates, and supporting data structures.
• Connect internal platforms, Microsoft 365, external services, APIs, and Dataverse.
• Develop, maintain, and improve applications built with .NET technologies and SQL databases.
• Investigate technical issues, support users, test solutions, and maintain technical documentation.

Requirements

• Commercial experience developing solutions with Microsoft Power Platform.
• Strong knowledge of Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Experience with SQL, relational databases, REST APIs, Dataverse, and the wider Microsoft ecosystem.
• Development experience with C#, .NET, or another object-oriented language.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycles, source control, and testing.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and independent working skills.

Nice to have

• VisualFiles configuration or development experience, including Task Server, scripting, templates, workflows, or data structures.
• Knowledge of Intapp or a comparable workflow and client-intake platform.
• Previous experience in a law firm, professional-services business, or case-management environment.
