What you will do

• Develop new manufacturing solutions for high-reliability modules used in medical, high-power automotive, and high-speed optical communication applications.
• Provide value engineering and design-for-manufacture input throughout the product development cycle.
• Apply APQP, Process FMEA, structured process validation, and Design of Experiments.
• Improve cycle time, scrap levels, throughput, quality, and productivity through disciplined problem solving and continuous improvement.
• Manage prototype and pre-production manufacturing builds in-house.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, customers, and suppliers across the product life cycle.

Requirements

• Degree-level education in manufacturing engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Structured, systematic, practical, and resourceful approach to work and communication.
• Strong team facilitation and project management abilities.
• Results-focused and improvement-driven mindset.
• Travel requirement of 0%–25%.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, DOE, DMAIC, or FMEA.
• Software development or automation experience.
