Head of HR (Tech)

Location: Fully remote. Optional pet-friendly office in Warsaw and coworking space in Gdansk. Most meetings take place between 10:00 and 18:00 CET, with flexible working hours.

Salary: 16,000–24,000 PLN net per month on a B2B contract.

What you will do

• Manage the People team of two recruiters and an office manager, including regular 1:1s, evaluations, and development.
• Own the full recruitment cycle and coordinate approximately 50 hires per year with the sales pipeline.
• Build and optimize recruitment, onboarding, workshadowing, offboarding, performance, compensation, and development systems.
• Advise founders, the CEO, and C-level leaders on headcount, compensation, organizational design, succession, and difficult people matters.
• Own HR operations covering contracts, leave, overtime, invoices, compensation reporting, policies, vendors, and compliance.
• Lead people initiatives, HR reporting, wellbeing programs, mentoring, and ISO 27001-related audits.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a senior HR or People role, including at least 2 years managing a team.
• Hands-on recruitment experience at scale and experience in a software house, consultancy, or technology company.
• Strong knowledge of Polish labor law and contract types, including B2B, UoP, and UZ.
• Experience building or significantly rebuilding HR systems, including compensation, performance reviews, onboarding, and policies.
• Strong commercial and analytical skills, including hiring metrics, reporting, and headcount planning.
• English at C1 or higher is required for written and spoken communication with international clients and colleagues.

Nice to have

• Experience with ISO 27001 or similar compliance frameworks from the HR side.
• Experience managing training, mentoring, team-event, and compensation budgets.
• Familiarity with Recruitee, Calamari, Primetric, OfficeVibe, or similar tools.
• Experience working with freelance and permanent staff.
• Experience using AI tools as part of daily work.
