Product Manager (AI Agent)

Location: Remote; meaningful working-hours overlap with the US team required

hirify.global develops Hermes Agent, an AI agent product with an open source community and an enterprise team.

What you will do

• Own the Hermes Agent roadmap and convert product direction into a prioritized execution plan.
• Define problems, write specifications, coordinate releases, and assess whether shipped features achieve their intended outcomes.
• Improve the user journey from installation and setup through first value and sustained use.
• Turn community feedback, user conversations, issues, and usage data into clear product decisions and trade-offs.
• Define useful product experiences for agent tools, reusable skills, and different models.
• Partner with Engineering and Research on agent evaluations, acceptance criteria, metrics, dependencies, risks, and release planning.

Requirements

• Product management experience taking products or substantial features from ambiguous problems through launch and iteration.
• Software engineering background with the ability to read code, understand system behavior, and discuss technical trade-offs.
• Hands-on experience building or shipping AI agent products, including knowledge of models, tools, context, and evaluations.
• Strong product judgment and the ability to lead as an individual contributor without relying on reporting lines.
• Excellent written communication for product specifications and company updates.
• Meaningful working-hours overlap with the US team.

Nice to have

• Experience building open source products or working with developer communities.
• Experience improving onboarding, activation, retention, and self-directed product adoption.
• Experience designing evaluations for agent reliability and real-world task completion.
• Contributions to the AI ecosystem or tools, workflows, and projects built with Hermes Agent.
