Focus on leading the programme team, navigating UK education structures, and advancing safe and inspiring learning environments where children are respected and supported.

Location: London, part home/part office based

Salary: Circa £71,000 per annum

hirify.global is a UK charity that raises funds for UNICEF’s emergency and development work and promotes and protects children’s rights in the UK and internationally.

What you will do

  • Lead the Rights Respecting Schools team and take overall responsibility for delivering the Rights Respecting Schools Award.
  • Advance associated child-rights advocacy objectives across the UK.
  • Work with schools to create safe and inspiring places to learn.
  • Support environments where children are respected, their talents are nurtured, and they can thrive.
  • Provide leadership for a programme engaging more than 5,000 schools and 1.7 million children and young people.

Requirements

  • Leadership and management experience in a relevant field connected to child rights education.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of UK school and education service structures, culture, and significant issues.
  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge, skills, and understanding against the role requirements.
  • Alignment with hirify.global’s values and mission.
