What you will do

• Analyze end-to-end Market Risk and Counterparty Risk regulatory reporting workflows, including data sourcing, transformation, aggregation, and submission.
• Partner with risk subject matter experts to document processes, controls, data dependencies, manual touchpoints, reconciliation gaps, and data lineage issues.
• Design scalable automation solutions, data pipelines, aggregation logic, and reporting layers.
• Translate business and technical needs into Jira epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria, then support delivery from design through production.
• Oversee data integrity, transformation logic, reconciliation, and performance across large-scale reporting environments.
• Evaluate Power BI, Tableau, AI/GenAI copilots, and advanced analytics platforms for reporting, anomaly detection, and process improvement.

Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in SQL, including complex queries, stored procedures, and performance optimization.
• Advanced proficiency in Java; experience with enterprise applications and Spring Boot or Spring Batch is preferred.
• Strong understanding of data architecture, infrastructure design, ETL, data pipelines, and distributed processing frameworks.
• Experience with Market Risk or Counterparty Risk environments and regulatory reporting; FR Y 14Q, CCAR, and Basel experience is preferred.
• Experience writing detailed Jira requirements and working across Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
• Must be able to work on a W-2 contract basis; C2C and 1099 arrangements are not accepted.

• Direct banking experience.
• Experience with stress testing processes and risk aggregation controls.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, modern analytics platforms, or semantic layers.
