Site Quality Assurance Engineer (QA/QC, Energy)

Location: Office/site-based in Spain, with the site located in Alcudia or Castellon

What you will do

• Lead and coordinate site quality functions across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
• Implement site-specific quality plans, Inspection Test Plans, and Field Quality Plans.
• Coordinate kick-off meetings, quality reviews, acceptance inspections, and inspections with clients and third parties.
• Ensure proper documentation, traceability, and compliance of tests and inspections.
• Manage Non-Conformance Reports, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Deliver quality training and support audits, internal reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in site-based QA/QC roles, preferably in EPC or HVDC projects.
• Strong knowledge of civil, mechanical, and electrical construction standards, welding procedures, and supplier quality management.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Professional proficiency in Spanish and English is required.

Nice to have

• ISO Lead Auditor, CWI, NDT Level II, or ASQ certification.
