Quality Resident (Automotive)

What you will do

• Act as the first contact for customer production sites during quality problems and escalations.
• Manage internal and external customer portals and support the deployment of quality strategies based on customer requirements.
• Participate in customer quality meetings and organize follow-up meetings with hirify.global production plants.
• Support problem-solving activities, containment, rework, sorting, and customer-repair material coordination.
• Coordinate sampling for model-year and technical changes with OEM customers.
• Prepare 8D reports, perform root-cause follow-up, and manage complaint records through closure.

Requirements

• Degree in electromechanical engineering or a similar field.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar position.
• Knowledge of complaint monitoring and handling, failure analysis, defect measurement, FMEA, quality assurance, and quality tools.
• Knowledge of analytical methods, data analysis, 5S, customer support, customer-specific requirements, and the DMAIC approach.
• Advanced Spanish (C1) is mandatory.
• Upper-intermediate English (B2) is required as a second language.

• Experience in the automotive industry, particularly with harness manufacturers.
