Senior DevOps Engineer (CPaaS)

Location: Remote, with listed locations in Belgrade, Serbia and Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The role includes up to 25 days per year working from anywhere in the world.

What you will do

• Set up and improve continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
• Configure product integrations, functional areas, interfaces, web services, and transport protocols.
• Troubleshoot and remediate infrastructure and systems integration issues.
• Maintain high availability of messaging, voice, and email gateways and platforms operating 24x7x365.
• Write and deploy automation scripts across different environments and maintain server configurations, monitoring jobs, and infrastructure documentation.
• Participate in on-call rotations and collaborate daily with offshore teams and partners.

Requirements

• 5+ years of recent technical experience in a professional services or enterprise DevOps role.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code using CloudFormation or Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Python, Elastic Stack, DroneCI, and Argo CD.
• Knowledge of network protocols and standards, infrastructure operations, and system monitoring.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related IT field.
• Fluent English with excellent written, editing, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong ownership, critical thinking, analytical skills, and the ability to drive DevOps initiatives across teams.
