Senior DevOps Engineer

Location: Fully remote; supports a US federal customer

Salary: $120,000–$175,000 annually

What you will do

• Guide application teams in refactoring monolithic applications and building software solutions with DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Define and oversee continuous integration, deployment, monitoring, and automation strategies across technologies.
• Deploy and sustain a microservices factory using COTS and open-source tools, hardened containers, and configuration management.
• Engineer complex implementations across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Lead DevOps practices and support SAFe Agile methods in large-scale client environments.
• Implement test-driven development and automated software development lifecycle toolchains.

Requirements

• Current SECRET clearance or IT-II eligibility/current NACLC is required.
• BA or BS degree and at least five years of Agile experience.
• Experience leading DevOps methodologies, defining SAFe Agile approaches, and designing CI/CD and monitoring strategies.
• Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Compute Engine, or RackSpace/OpenStack across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as TFS, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Salt, or LVM.
• CSP certification and DoD 8570 certification, such as AWS DevOps Engineer or Azure Solutions Architect and CompTIA Security+, are required.
