Global Financial Operations Platform Director (Digital Assets)

What you will do

• Define product strategy, architecture, operating principles, and a multi-year roadmap for the financial operations platform.
• Establish canonical transaction and financial-event models, double-entry ledgers, subledgers, balances, positions, journals, and transaction histories.
• Design settlement and asset-movement workflows across banks, payment providers, custodians, wallets, blockchains, trading venues, and finance systems.
• Build automated multi-way reconciliation, configurable matching rules, exception management, operational dashboards, audit trails, and control evidence.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Operations, Finance, Treasury, Custody, Risk, and Compliance on delivery, migration, testing, rollout, and operational readiness.
• Lead build-versus-buy decisions, data migration, backfilling, parallel runs, legacy-process retirement, and post-launch improvement.

Requirements

• Eight or more years of experience in fintech, financial services, digital assets, brokerage, custody, payments, or capital-markets technology.
• Five or more years of product management, platform leadership, technical program leadership, or comparable engineering experience.
• Demonstrated delivery of a ledger, reconciliation platform, settlement system, payments infrastructure, brokerage books-and-records platform, or digital asset back office.
• Strong understanding of transaction lifecycles, balances, positions, journal entries, reconciliation, and financial controls.
• Technical fluency with APIs, event-driven systems, data schemas, batch and streaming pipelines, integrations, idempotency, and failure handling.
• Practical SQL proficiency, strong written communication, structured problem-solving, and senior stakeholder-management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with both fiat and digital asset transaction flows, blockchain transactions, wallets, custodians, and on-chain settlement.
• Experience integrating with Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or comparable ERP systems.
• Knowledge of client asset segregation, safeguarding, books and records, double-entry accounting, and financial-close processes.
• Experience with high-volume continuously operating financial platforms and automated reconciliation.
• Experience assessing or implementing crypto ledger, reconciliation, or digital asset accounting platforms.
