Privacy Assurance & Compliance Specialist (SaaS)

What you will do

• Support the Director of Compliance in delivering the privacy workstream of the compliance roadmap.
• Lead and coordinate Data Protection Impact Assessments, risk treatments, Privacy-by-Design activities, and privacy controls testing.
• Manage Data Subject Access Request and data deletion request processes with relevant system owners.
• Conduct vendor security reviews, support privacy-related customer inquiries, and contribute to incident management.
• Develop and maintain privacy policies, notices, procedures, governance reporting, Knowledge Base content, and Trust Centre resources.
• Support audits and certifications, including ISO 27701, ISO 27001, ISAE 3000, and SOC 2, while maintaining evidence in GRC tools.

Requirements

• Degree-level qualification or equivalent in Law, Data Protection, Information Security, Compliance, Risk, or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in privacy compliance or privacy assurance, ideally in a software, SaaS, or international technology environment.
• Strong working knowledge of EU GDPR and privacy risk and compliance management.
• Practical experience with DPIAs, DSARs, data deletion requests, ROPAs, incident response, and vendor privacy reviews.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical business processes and controls, manage workstreams independently, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience in SaaS, edtech, or software development environments.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, ISO 27701, ISAE 3000, ISO 42001, or SOC 2.
• Familiarity with GRC platforms such as Vanta or OneTrust.
• Privacy or audit qualifications such as CIPP/E, CIPM, or ISO internal auditor training.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace.
