Legal Lead Analyst (Privacy & Compliance): Supporting global data protection and privacy programs across GDPR, CCPA, and the EU AI Act with an accent on governance, risk assessments, vendor due diligence, and privacy-by-design. Focus on evaluating DPIAs and AI risk assessments, developing mitigation strategies, monitoring regulatory changes, and advising product, security, and engineering teams.
Location: Portugal. Hybrid and remote options are available for this specific role.

What you will do
- Support the development and implementation of global data protection and privacy programs.
- Lead privacy operations and partner with Legal and business stakeholders across the US, EU, and LATAM.
- Develop and evolve privacy, data protection, and AI governance frameworks.
- Evaluate Data Protection Impact Assessments and AI Risk Assessments, identify compliance gaps, and define mitigation strategies.
- Lead data protection due diligence for vendors processing personal data.
- Advise product, security, and engineering teams on privacy-by-design and responsible AI.
Requirements
- 5–7+ years of experience in data privacy, compliance, IT audit, or related risk management.
- Understanding of ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 27701, and/or ISO/IEC 42001.
- Law degree and license to practice law in the EEA preferred.
- Strong project management and prioritization skills.
- Interest in legal, compliance, and privacy matters.
- Experience in healthcare is preferred but not required.
