IT Developer (Microsoft Power Platform)

Location: Hybrid role based in Dudley, West Midlands, UK, with office attendance twice a week. Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK.

Salary: £45,000–£55,000 per annum, dependent on experience.

A well-established regional law firm providing legal services to commercial clients, private individuals, and organisations.

What you will do

• Design, build, and enhance solutions using Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
• Develop and maintain VisualFiles configurations, workflows, templates, scripts, and associated data.
• Build and maintain integrations across internal applications, Microsoft 365, VisualFiles, Power Platform, and external services.
• Contribute to .NET and C# application development, SQL database work, testing, deployment, and change management.
• Investigate application, integration, and data issues and implement effective fixes.
• Work with business users and the wider IT team to deliver application projects and improve reliable, secure business systems.

Requirements

• Experience developing, supporting, or administering business-critical applications in a commercial environment.
• Practical experience with Microsoft Power Platform, particularly Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with REST APIs, Dataverse, or other third-party integrations.
• Familiarity with .NET, C#, or comparable object-oriented technologies, plus software testing and development lifecycle practices.
• Legal right to work in the UK and availability to attend the Dudley office twice a week.

Nice to have

• Experience with VisualFiles, case management systems, or comparable workflow platforms.
• Background in the legal sector, professional services, or another regulated environment.
