What you will do

• Manage market data vendors and contracts end to end, including onboarding, implementation, and supplier performance.
• Oversee market data inventories, entitlements, access management, usage reporting, supplier declarations, and cost allocation.
• Manage regulatory, commercial, and operational risks through established governance processes.
• Partner with internal customers and provide market data expertise and professional advice.
• Evaluate complex solutions, identify cost mitigation opportunities, and support the target operating model.
• Monitor market, vendor, and regulatory developments to inform governance and strategic planning.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in market data, market data services, or data vendor management.
• Experience managing market data vendors, supplier relationships, and contract implementation.
• Strong knowledge of market data inventories, entitlements, licence management, and usage reporting.
• Experience identifying and managing operational, commercial, and regulatory risks.
• Strong relationship management and business partnering skills with the ability to influence across teams.
• Ability to evaluate complex issues and support cost optimisation and commercial decision-making.

Nice to have

• Experience coaching, mentoring, or supporting colleague development.
• Knowledge of major vendors such as Bloomberg and London Stock Exchange Group.
• Experience in a regulated financial services environment.
