Credit Risk Analyst - 12 Month FTC (Consumer Lending)

What you will do

• Investigate incidents affecting regulated credit products, identify impacted customers, deliver remediation, and support positive customer outcomes.
• Work with Contact Centre, Marketing, Technology, and external partners on customer and business projects.
• Produce regular reports and ad hoc analysis using multiple data sources to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Analyze and improve credit processes, rules, and lending strategies while considering commercial and regulatory requirements.
• Investigate complex business problems, challenge existing approaches, and propose practical improvements.
• Communicate analysis and recommendations clearly to stakeholders across multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements

• Experience in an analyst role, ideally in consumer lending, financial services, or another data-driven environment.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with a structured, curious approach to problem-solving.
• Strong Excel and SQL skills, including using data to investigate issues and answer business questions.
• Attention to detail and the ability to understand complex business logic.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and deliver work at pace.

Nice to have

• Experience with Databricks, Python, or Power BI.
