AI Integrations Engineer (LLM)

Location: Germany; hybrid work

Salary: €90,000–€160,000 per year, plus equity

ClickHouse is a rapidly scaling startup building and maintaining Langfuse, an open-source observability product for LLM applications.

What you will do

• Build and maintain integrations between Langfuse and 40+ AI frameworks, agent orchestrators, SDKs, and model providers.
• Design instrumentation patterns for emerging frameworks using callback handlers, decorators, OpenTelemetry auto-instrumentation, or combinations of these approaches.
• Contribute improvements to the Python and TypeScript core SDKs, including hooks, context propagation, and performance optimizations.
• Write integration documentation, quickstart tutorials, cookbooks, and migration guides.
• Engage with framework communities, maintain GitHub integrations, publish technical content, and collaborate with framework maintainers.
• Maintain popular integrations such as OpenAI, LangChain, and Vercel AI SDK as they evolve.

Requirements

• Experience building real applications with LLM frameworks such as LangChain, Pydantic AI, Vercel AI SDK, or LlamaIndex, or strong willingness to learn the ecosystem.
• Strong Python and/or TypeScript skills with a focus on reliable, production-quality code.
• Product-minded approach to developer experience, integration usability, error messages, and documentation.
• Ability to work independently, investigate technical problems, and own outcomes in a small accountable team.
• Enthusiasm for open source, developer communities, and writing clear technical documentation.

Nice to have

• Experience with OpenTelemetry internals or observability instrumentation.
• Contributions to open-source projects, SDKs, developer tools, CLIs, or client libraries.
• Founder or early-stage startup experience.
• Active participation in AI/ML developer communities through blog posts, talks, or open source.
• Computer science or quantitative degree.
