Responsible AI Manager (AI)

Location: Lisbon, Portugal; hybrid work with 8–10 in-office days per month

What you will do

• Own and operate elements of the end-to-end Responsible AI governance model, including use-case triage, routing, and approval pathways.
• Review AI use cases and advise senior stakeholders on risk profiles, controls, and decision trade-offs.
• Develop Responsible AI risk assessment frameworks, methodologies, classification approaches, and risk registers.
• Define Responsible AI requirements for emerging technologies and embed them across delivery lifecycles.
• Drive adoption and improvement of Responsible AI tooling in line with regulatory, risk, and business needs.
• Collaborate with Privacy, Product, Technology, and Cyber Security teams and support assessments, incidents, and advisory matters.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree.
• At least two years of experience in AI governance or Responsible AI, focused on practical implementation and operationalisation.
• Knowledge of Responsible AI risks, root causes, and mitigations, including hallucinations, prompt injection, and content safety.
• Understanding of the EU AI Act and related requirements such as the EU Data Act, GDPR, and Cyber Resilience Act.
• Understanding of LLMs, GenAI, retrieval-augmented generation, and agentic AI.
• Fluency in English and strong cross-functional stakeholder management skills.
