Principal Operations Analyst (Securities Operations)

Location: Sydney, Australia; hybrid model with on-site client representation and APAC timezone coverage.

What you will do

• Act as the primary client contact and escalation owner for Securities Operations matters across APAC.
• Represent the investment operations function at client governance, service review, SLA, and executive-level meetings.
• Own relationship-management strategy and on-site oversight for managed-service operations in Sydney.
• Coordinate client onboarding readiness across six functional domains and connect client feedback with delivery teams in Manila and Noida.
• Resolve complex issues across Trade Processing, Asset Servicing, Reconciliation, Delivery Excellence, Operational Data Management, and Claims & CSDR.
• Coach the Sydney Lead Analyst and regional support analysts while maintaining escalation continuity and backup coverage.

Requirements

• 5–8+ years of experience in securities operations, including client-facing or managed-services work.
• Expertise across all six Securities Operations domains.
• Advanced senior and executive stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to lead complex and ambiguous client conversations with limited direction.
• Experience with governance, escalation ownership, coaching, mentorship, and relationship-management strategy.
• SimCorp Dimension expertise and sound judgment under ambiguity.
