Support Engineer (TeamCity)

Location: Boston, Massachusetts; Foster City, California; Marlton, New Jersey; or Remote, United States. Working hours must align with American time zones.

Base salary: $144,000–$216,000 USD per year.

What you will do

• Own incoming technical issues and identify whether they originate in TeamCity, infrastructure, or third-party integrations.
• Diagnose root causes and provide workarounds, working resolutions, bug reports, or escalations to development teams.
• Support TeamCity server-side setups and SaaS deployments across complex software and infrastructure environments.
• Capture technical insights and publish solutions using Knowledge-Centered Service principles.
• Share user feedback with internal product teams to improve TeamCity.

Requirements

• Fluent English with strong written communication skills.
• Ability to work aligned with American time zones.
• Systematic troubleshooting experience with complex software and infrastructure issues.
• Practical experience troubleshooting web servers and applications, including Tomcat and Java-based environments.
• Working knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MSSQL.
• Experience with version control and hosting platforms, build automation tools, and containerized or cloud environments.
