Senior Technical Support Engineer (Kubernetes)

Location: United States — Remote

Base salary: $120,000–$137,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Triage, investigate, manage, and resolve complex customer issues involving hirify.global Images.
• Escalate technical issues to Engineering and communicate progress clearly to customers while meeting SLAs.
• Explain technical problems to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Create detailed issue reports and contribute useful content to the Knowledge Base.
• Prioritize the support queue, identify bugs and feature requests, and guide issues through resolution with Engineering and go-to-market teams.
• Participate in an after-hours, weekend, and holiday on-call rotation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise customers.
• 3+ years of experience with Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD, GitHub, Helm Charts, Terraform, and open source software.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate across Engineering and Customer Success.
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in STEM, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• AWS EKS experience.
• Experience with security frameworks, software supply chain security, or vulnerability scanning.
• CKA, CKAD, CKS, or KCSA certification.
• Startup experience.
