Head of Controlling (Factory Finance Controller)

Location: Dammam, Ash Sharqiyah, Saudi Arabia. The role also offers remote/flexible work opportunities.

What you will do

• Oversee end-to-end manufacturing cost controlling, variance analysis, and cost allocation for the GIS factory.
• Establish manufacturing KPIs to improve operational efficiency and optimize costs.
• Manage product costing, inventory valuation, and scrap and obsolescence controls.
• Lead annual budgeting and monthly forecasting cycles, analyzing performance against targets and recommending corrective actions.
• Execute and monitor monthly internal financial controls in compliance with IFRS and corporate guidelines.
• Prepare for and coordinate internal and external audits for factory operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
• 8–10 years of professional experience in financial controlling, preferably in factory or manufacturing environments.
• Leadership experience managing finance teams and internal controls.
• Professional certification such as CMA, CPA, CA, or ACCA.
• Expertise in industrial cost accounting, product costing and valuation, variance analysis, and financial modeling.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, internal controls, SOX compliance, and financial risk management, plus budgeting, forecasting, stakeholder management, and team development.
