Production Supervisor - Repack (Food Manufacturing)

Location: Warrington, United Kingdom; based at the Warrington production site. Monday to Friday day shift.

What you will do

• Lead day-to-day repack and packing operations to deliver production plans, output, service, efficiency, and minimal waste.
• Manage a small operational team, including shift deployment, labour planning, performance, attendance, coaching, and development.
• Maintain high standards of safety, food safety, GMP, hygiene, legality, product quality, and traceability.
• Operate and oversee multi-head weighers, flow wrappers, packing equipment, and safe machinery practices.
• Investigate non-conformances, implement corrective actions, and work with Technical and Engineering teams to resolve defects and reduce downtime.
• Lead shift briefings, maintain effective handovers, support recruitment interviews, and deputise for the Production Manager when required.

Requirements

• Experience in supervisory or operational management within FMCG, food manufacturing, packing, or repack operations.
• Hands-on experience with production and packing machinery, ideally including flow wrapping or similar automated equipment.
• Knowledge of food safety, GMP, quality standards, product traceability, allergen control, and safe systems of work.
• Experience managing operational teams, including performance, attendance, conduct, coaching, and colleague development.
• Strong labour-planning, organisation, communication, practical problem-solving, and prioritisation skills.
• Ability to interpret operational KPIs and data using Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel.
