Credit Control Specialist Agent (Insurance)

Location: Liverpool City Centre, UK, with hybrid working. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm, 37.5 hours per week.

Salary: £28,400 per year.

What you will do

• Support customers experiencing financial difficulties or vulnerability and work toward positive customer outcomes.
• Provide customer service by phone, email, and letter, using TEXAS and IDEA models to support one-call resolution.
• Assist customers and businesses with outstanding debts and maintain accurate payment and payment-plan records.
• Investigate cases, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to improve processes.
• Communicate with clients, agents, third parties, and internal departments to resolve cases successfully.

Requirements

• Experience supporting vulnerable customers or customers experiencing financial difficulties by telephone.
• Strong communication, organisation, prioritisation, ownership, and independent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to investigate cases and implement corrective actions.
• Computer literacy and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience in credit control within the insurance industry is preferred but not essential.
• Experience with ICE, TCAS, and Bexhill is preferred.
