Staff/Senior Solutions Engineer (CN) (Fintech)

What you will do

• Design customer solutions with account executives across pre-sales, solution design, and implementation.
• Develop proof-of-concept applications on Airwallex and deliver technical demonstrations.
• Support RESTful and multi-system API integrations and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Ensure client integrations follow best practices and provide a strong developer experience.
• Own technical deliverables throughout the end-to-end project lifecycle and maintain project-plan alignment.
• Provide product feedback that reduces implementation friction and accelerates time to transaction.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with strong academic achievements.
• 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing engineering role such as solutions consulting, solutions architecture, sales engineering, or IT consulting.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with customers, partners, engineering, product, and sales stakeholders.
• Knowledge of at least one major programming language, such as PHP, Ruby, Python, JavaScript, or Java.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs into web applications.

Nice to have

• Payments or financial services domain knowledge.
• Experience integrating accounting platforms such as Xero, NetSuite, Fusion Cloud, or QuickBooks.
• Executive engagement, strategic thinking, independent decision-making, and strong organizational skills.
