Engineer (AI)

Location: Must be legally eligible to work in France, Belgium, or Spain. Remote work flexibility is available, with in-person collaboration valued.

What you will do

• Build Hopper, an internal agentic AI platform and productivity companion for coding, data analysis, automation, research, and everyday work.
• Develop reusable components for agent orchestration, isolated execution, skills, connectors, permissions, audit, and evaluations.
• Design durable AI sessions across web, Slack, Linear, and GitHub.
• Scale managed agent pools, sandboxed environments, autonomous testing, and CI auto-fix capabilities.
• Create secure connectors and MCP Gateway functionality for identity, credentials, permissions, confirmations, sensitivity, and audit.
• Own work end to end, from React interactions and API contracts to production reliability.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in full-stack software engineering roles.
• Experience building products, internal platforms, frameworks, or infrastructure used by other people.
• Depth in at least one relevant area: AI agents and evaluations, developer platforms, product UX, distributed systems and runtimes, or security and authorization.
• Ability to make trade-offs between speed, reliability, cost, security, and user experience.
• Fluent English required; French is not required.
• Legal eligibility to work in France, Belgium, or Spain required.

Nice to have

• Experience with LLM APIs, agent harnesses, MCP, or AI-assisted coding tools.
• Curiosity and high potential for solving complex product and platform problems.
