Senior Group Controller (Fixed-term - 1 year)

Location: Berlin, Germany; hybrid working with attendance at the Berlin campus 2 days a week

What you will do

• Prepare and present monthly analysis of actual results versus budget and forecast for Group Management.
• Own Group Costs and Segment Cost Allocations across monthly actuals, best estimates, and annual budgeting.
• Consolidate, review, and challenge financial and KPI performance across the P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and operational metrics.
• Prepare dashboards and reporting materials for C-level management and the Supervisory Board.
• Improve group consolidation and liquidity planning processes while supporting Treasury planning and maintaining high data quality.
• Partner with central functions and local finance teams, support audits, and contribute to finance improvement projects.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience in finance, controlling, FP&A, or group reporting.
• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, consolidated financial statements, group reporting, financial modelling, and analytical methods.
• Ability to own complex topics independently and translate financial data into actionable business insights.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across functions and seniority levels.
• Fluent English, written and spoken, and availability through January 2028.

Nice to have

• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CFA, or CPA.
